City of Painesville Mortgage Down-Payment Program
This program allows customers to obtain assistance in making the down-payment on a new home. After an application process, Lifeline can assist customers with up to $1,500 for a mortgage down-payment. Applicants for this program must be moving into a designated reinvestment zone in the City of Painesville.

Budget Counseling Sessions

Through this program, a Lifeline case manager will work one-on-one with customers to organize and understand their monthly budget. This includes comparing income to expenses and setting budget priorities. Referrals to various cost-saving programs are also offered during this session. Because of the budget changes incurred with moving, this program is highly recommended to customers moving into a new household.

HOME Funds Security Deposits Program

Through this program, Lifeline can assist low to moderate-income families in obtaining safe and affordable rental housing. After an application process, including inspection of the property, customers may obtain up to $400 as a security deposit. Customers are also provided with Fair Housing materials upon approval. To be eligible, applicants must be moving within Lake County.
